Ingredients

  • 🌾 Flour – for pasta dough
  • 💧 Water – for pasta dough
  • 🧂 Salt – to taste
  • 🧄 Garlic – minced
  • 🌶️ Red pepper flakes – optional
  • 🧀 Parmesan cheese – grated, for serving
  • 🌿 Fresh herbs (basil, parsley) – for garnish

Instructions

  • 🍝 Make pici pasta dough, roll and cut into thick, hand-rolled strands.
  • 💧 Cook pici in boiling salted water until al dente.
  • 🧄 Sauté garlic and red pepper flakes (if using) in olive oil.
  • 🍅 Add your favorite sauce (tomato-based or cacio e pepe) and simmer.
  • ✨ Toss cooked pici with sauce, garnish with parmesan and herbs, and serve.
