Peri Peri Chicken

Ingredients

  • 🍗 Chicken pieces – 1 kg
  • 🌶️ Peri Peri sauce – 1/2 cup
  • 🍋 Lemon juice – 2 tbsp
  • 🧄 Garlic – 4 cloves minced
  • 🧅 Onion – 1 medium, chopped
  • 🌿 Herbs (oregano, thyme) – 1 tsp
  • 🧂 Salt & pepper – to taste

Instructions

  • 🥣 Marinate chicken with peri peri sauce, lemon juice, garlic, herbs, salt, and pepper. Refrigerate for at least 30 mins.
  • 🔥 Preheat oven to 200°C (400°F).
  • 🧅 Sauté chopped onion in a pan until translucent.
  • 🍗 Add marinated chicken and cook until browned on all sides.
  • ♨️ Transfer to oven and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until chicken is cooked through. Serve hot.
