Ingredients
- 1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, softened 🧈
- 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter 🥜
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar 🍚
- 1/4 cup packed brown sugar 🍚
- 1 large egg 🥚
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract 🥄
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour 🌾
- 1 teaspoon baking soda 🥄
- 1/2 teaspoon salt 🧂
- 1/2 cup strawberry jam 🍓
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). 🔥
- In a large bowl, cream together the butter, peanut butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy. 🥣
- Beat in the egg and vanilla extract. 🥚
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. 🌾🧂
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined. 🥄
- Drop by rounded tablespoons onto ungreased baking sheets. 🍪
- Press a small indentation into the center of each cookie. 👍
- Fill each indentation with about 1/2 teaspoon of strawberry jam. 🍓
- Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown. ⏲️
- Let cool on baking sheets for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely. 🆒
