Ingredients

  • 🐐 Goat trotters (paya) – 4
  • 🧅 Onions – 2, chopped
  • 🧄 Garlic – 2 tbsp, paste
  • 🌿 Ginger – 2 tbsp, paste
  • 🌶️ Red chili powder – 1 tsp
  • 🌱 Coriander powder – 2 tsp
  • 🌼 Turmeric powder – 1/2 tsp
  • 🍃 Garam masala – 1 tsp
  • 🧂 Salt – to taste
  • 💧 Oil – 2 tbsp
  • 🍋 Lemon – for garnish

Instructions

  • 🔥 Sauté onions, ginger, and garlic in oil until golden brown.
  • 🌶️ Add red chili powder, coriander powder, and turmeric powder. Fry for a minute.
  • 🥘 Add the goat trotters, salt and water. Pressure cook until tender (8-10 whistles).
  • 🌿 Simmer the soup for an additional 30 minutes.
  • ✨ Garnish with fresh coriander and lemon juice. Serve hot.
