Ingredients
- 🐐 Goat trotters (paya) – 4
- 🧅 Onions – 2, chopped
- 🧄 Garlic – 2 tbsp, paste
- 🌿 Ginger – 2 tbsp, paste
- 🌶️ Red chili powder – 1 tsp
- 🌱 Coriander powder – 2 tsp
- 🌼 Turmeric powder – 1/2 tsp
- 🍃 Garam masala – 1 tsp
- 🧂 Salt – to taste
- 💧 Oil – 2 tbsp
- 🍋 Lemon – for garnish
Instructions
- 🔥 Sauté onions, ginger, and garlic in oil until golden brown.
- 🌶️ Add red chili powder, coriander powder, and turmeric powder. Fry for a minute.
- 🥘 Add the goat trotters, salt and water. Pressure cook until tender (8-10 whistles).
- 🌿 Simmer the soup for an additional 30 minutes.
- ✨ Garnish with fresh coriander and lemon juice. Serve hot.
