Ingredients
- 🍔 Ground beef – 1/2 pound
- 🧅 Onion – 1 medium, sliced
- 🧀 Cheese – 4 slices (Swiss or cheddar)
- 🍞 Rye bread – 4 slices
- 🧈 Butter – 2 tablespoons
Instructions
- 🍔 Form ground beef into patties and season with salt and pepper.
- 🧅 Caramelize onions in a pan with butter until golden brown.
- 🔥 Cook patties in a skillet until browned and cooked through.
- 🍞 Butter the outside of the rye bread slices. Place cheese and patty between bread slices.
- 🧀 Grill the sandwich until golden brown and the cheese is melted.
