Ingredients

  • 🌾 All-purpose flour – 2 cups
  • 💧 Water – as needed
  • 🧂 Salt – 1 tsp
  • 🛢️ Oil – for cooking
  • 🧈 Ghee/Butter – for layering

Instructions

  • 🥣 Combine flour, salt, and water to form a soft dough.
  • ⏳ Knead the dough well for 10-15 minutes, then rest for 30 mins.
  • 🔪 Divide the dough into small balls and roll each into a thin circle.
  • 🧈 Apply ghee/butter, pleat the circle and coil into a spiral.
  • 🍳 Roll the spiral into a parotta, cook on a hot pan until golden brown on both sides.
