Oyster Ramen

Ingredients

  • 2 packs ramen noodles 🍜
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil 🫘
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced 🧄
  • 1 inch ginger, grated ⚙️
  • 4 cups chicken broth 🐔
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce 🍶
  • 1 tbsp mirin
  • 1 tsp sugar 🍬
  • 1/2 lb fresh oysters 🦪
  • 2 green onions, sliced 🧅
  • 1 sheet nori, cut into strips 📃
  • 1 soft-boiled egg, halved 🥚
  • Optional: Chili oil 🌶️

Instructions

  • Cook ramen noodles according to package directions. Drain and set aside. 🍜
  • Heat sesame oil in a pot over medium heat. Add garlic and ginger and cook until fragrant. 🧄⚙️
  • Pour in chicken broth, soy sauce, mirin, and sugar. Bring to a simmer. 🐔🍶🍬
  • Gently add oysters to the broth and cook until plump and slightly curled, about 3-5 minutes. 🦪
  • Divide noodles between two bowls. Pour broth and oysters over noodles.
  • Garnish with green onions, nori strips, and soft-boiled egg. 🧅📃🥚
  • Drizzle with chili oil if desired. 🌶️
  • Serve immediately and enjoy! 🎉
