Ingredients

  • 🦪 Oysters – fresh or frozen
  • 🍜 Mee Sua – thin wheat noodles
  • 🍚 Cornstarch – for coating
  • 🥬 Cabbage – shredded
  • 🍄 Dried mushrooms – soaked and sliced
  • 🌿 Cilantro – for garnish
  • 🧅 Fried shallots – for garnish
  • 🥚 Egg – beaten
  • 🧄 Garlic – minced
  • 🌶️ Chili sauce – to taste

Instructions

  • 🔥 Sauté garlic until fragrant. Add dried mushrooms and cabbage, then stir-fry.
  • 💧 Add water or broth and bring to a boil. Thicken with cornstarch slurry.
  • 🍲 Gently add Mee Sua noodles and cook until softened.
  • 🥚 Drizzle beaten egg into the soup while stirring to create egg ribbons.
  • 🦪 Add oysters and cook until just cooked through. Garnish with cilantro and fried shallots. Serve hot with chili sauce.
