Ingredients

  • 🥬 Shredded Cabbage – 2 cups
  • 🥚 Egg – 2 large
  • 🌾 All-purpose Flour – ½ cup
  • 💧 Water – ½ cup
  • 🥓 Bacon or Pork Belly – 4 slices
  • 🍶 Okonomiyaki Sauce – to taste
  • 🍃 Dried Seaweed Flakes (Aonori) – to garnish
  • 🐟 Bonito Flakes – to garnish

Instructions

  • 🥣 In a bowl, mix flour, water, and egg to form a batter.
  • 🥬 Add shredded cabbage and any other desired fillings to the batter.
  • 🔥 Heat a lightly oiled griddle or pan over medium heat.
  • 🥓 Pour batter onto the griddle and top with bacon slices.
  • 🍳 Cook until golden brown and cooked through, then flip and cook the other side.
  • ✨ Serve hot, topped with Okonomiyaki sauce, mayonnaise, Aonori, and Bonito flakes.
