Ingredients
- 🥣 Besan (Gram Flour) – 1 cup, sifted
- 🧈 Ghee (Clarified Butter) – ½ cup
- 🍬 Sugar – 1 cup
- 💧 Water – ½ cup
- 🌱 Cardamom Powder – ½ tsp for aroma
Instructions
- 🔥 Roast the besan in ghee on low heat until it turns golden and aromatic.
- 🍯 Boil sugar and water together until the syrup reaches a one-string consistency.
- 🥣 Gradually whisk the roasted besan into the sugar syrup to avoid any lumps.
- 🥘 Cook and stir continuously until the mixture thickens and leaves the sides of the pan.
- 🔪 Pour into a greased tray, smoothen the top, and cut into squares once set.
