Ingredients

  • 🍚 Rice – 2 cups
  • 🍗 Chicken or 🧆 Tofu – 500g, cubed
  • 🧅 Onion – 1 large, chopped
  • 🍅 Tomatoes – 2 medium, diced
  • 🧄 Ginger-Garlic paste – 2 tbsp
  • 🌶️ Green chilies – 2, slit (optional)
  • 🌿 Coriander leaves – for garnish
  • 🧂 Spices (Turmeric, Cumin, Coriander, Garam Masala)

Instructions

  • 🔥 Heat oil and sauté onions until golden brown.
  • 🧄 Add ginger-garlic paste and green chilies; sauté until fragrant.
  • 🍗 Add chicken or tofu and cook until browned.
  • 🍅 Add tomatoes and spices; cook until tomatoes soften.
  • 🍚 Add rice and water; bring to a boil, then simmer until rice is cooked.
  • 🌿 Garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot.
