Ingredients
- 🦪 Mussels – 1 kg, cleaned
- 🧅 Onion – 1, chopped
- 🧄 Garlic – 2 cloves, minced
- 🌿 Fresh parsley – chopped
- 🥛 White wine – 1 cup
- 🍋 Lemon – 1, juiced
- 🌶️ Red pepper flakes – to taste
- 🧈 Butter – 2 tbsp
Instructions
- 🔥 Melt butter in a large pot over medium heat. Add onion and garlic, cook until softened.
- 🌶️ Stir in red pepper flakes, then pour in white wine and lemon juice. Bring to a simmer.
- 🦪 Add mussels to the pot, cover, and cook for 5-7 minutes, or until they open. Discard any that don't open.
- 🌿 Stir in fresh parsley.
- 🥣 Serve immediately in bowls with the broth.
