Ingredients

  • 🦪 Mussels – 1 kg, cleaned
  • 🧅 Onion – 1, chopped
  • 🧄 Garlic – 2 cloves, minced
  • 🌿 Fresh parsley – chopped
  • 🥛 White wine – 1 cup
  • 🍋 Lemon – 1, juiced
  • 🌶️ Red pepper flakes – to taste
  • 🧈 Butter – 2 tbsp

Instructions

  • 🔥 Melt butter in a large pot over medium heat. Add onion and garlic, cook until softened.
  • 🌶️ Stir in red pepper flakes, then pour in white wine and lemon juice. Bring to a simmer.
  • 🦪 Add mussels to the pot, cover, and cook for 5-7 minutes, or until they open. Discard any that don't open.
  • 🌿 Stir in fresh parsley.
  • 🥣 Serve immediately in bowls with the broth.
