Ingredients

  • 🍚 All-purpose flour – 2 cups
  • 🧈 Cold butter – 1/2 cup, cubed
  • 🍶 Buttermilk – 3/4 cup
  • 🍥 Miso paste – 2 tbsp
  • 🧂 Baking powder – 1 tbsp
  • 🍬 Sugar – 1 tsp
  • 🧂 Salt – 1/2 tsp

Instructions

  • 🥣 Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Whisk together flour, baking powder, sugar, and salt.
  • 🧊 Cut in cold butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  • 🍥 In a separate bowl, whisk together buttermilk and miso paste.
  • 💧 Add wet ingredients to dry ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  • 🔪 Turn dough out onto a lightly floured surface, pat into a 1-inch thick rectangle, and cut out biscuits. Place on baking sheet and bake for 15-20 minutes, or until golden brown. Enjoy! ✨
