Ingredients
- 🫘 Green peas (matar) – 1 cup
- 🌾 Whole wheat flour – 2 cups
- 🥔 Potatoes – 2 medium, boiled
- 🌶️ Green chilies – 1-2, chopped
- 🌿 Coriander leaves – for garnish
- 🛢️ Oil – for frying
- 💧 Water – as needed
- 🧂 Salt – to taste
- 🥭 Amchur powder – 1 tsp
- 🧄 Ginger-garlic paste – 1 tsp
Instructions
- 🌱 Prepare the filling: Boil or mash peas, mix with potatoes, spices, and herbs.
- 💧 Make the dough: Combine flour, a pinch of salt, and oil; add water gradually to form a firm dough.
- 🥟 Shape kachoris: Divide dough into small portions, flatten, fill with pea mixture, and seal edges.
- 🔥 Fry: Heat oil in a pan, gently slide in kachoris, and fry until golden brown and crispy.
- 🌿 Serve: Garnish with coriander, and serve hot with chutney or sauce.
