Ingredients
- 🥩 Matambre (flank steak) – 1 piece trimmed of excess fat
- 🥛 Milk – 1 liter for tenderizing
- 🧄 Garlic – 4 cloves minced
- 🌿 Parsley – 1/2 cup fresh chopped
- 🥕 Carrots – 2 whole, cooked
- 🥚 Eggs – 3 hard-boiled
- 🧂 Salt & Pepper – to taste
Instructions
- 🥛 Soak the flank steak in milk for at least 2 hours or overnight in the fridge to tenderize.
- 🔪 Lay the meat flat and season generously with salt, pepper, garlic, and chopped parsley.
- 🥕 Place boiled carrots and hard-boiled eggs in a line along the center, then roll the meat tightly and secure with kitchen twine.
- 🥘 Place the roll in a pot with water or broth and simmer over low heat for 1.5 to 2 hours until tender.
- ✨ Remove the twine, slice into rounds, and serve warm or cold with a fresh salad.
