Ingredients

  • 🌰 Marzipan – 200g
  • 🥚 Eggs – 3 large
  • 🧈 Butter – 150g softened
  • 🍚 Sugar – 150g
  • 🌾 Flour – 150g
  • 🍋 Lemon zest – 1 tsp
  • ✨ Almond extract – 1/2 tsp

Instructions

  • 🥣 Cream together butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  • 🥚 Beat in eggs one at a time, then stir in almond extract and lemon zest.
  • 🌾 Gradually add flour, mixing until just combined.
  • 🌰 Crumble marzipan into the batter and gently fold it in.
  • 🔥 Pour into a greased cake pan and bake until golden brown and a toothpick comes out clean.
