Ingredients
- 🌰 Marzipan – 200g
- 🥚 Eggs – 3 large
- 🧈 Butter – 150g softened
- 🍚 Sugar – 150g
- 🌾 Flour – 150g
- 🍋 Lemon zest – 1 tsp
- ✨ Almond extract – 1/2 tsp
Instructions
- 🥣 Cream together butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
- 🥚 Beat in eggs one at a time, then stir in almond extract and lemon zest.
- 🌾 Gradually add flour, mixing until just combined.
- 🌰 Crumble marzipan into the batter and gently fold it in.
- 🔥 Pour into a greased cake pan and bake until golden brown and a toothpick comes out clean.
