Ingredients
- 🥭 Mango Pulp – 1 cup fresh and thick
- 🌾 Maida (All-purpose flour) – 1 cup for dough
- 🍯 Jaggery – ½ cup grated or powdered
- 🧈 Ghee – 3 tbsp for roasting
- 🫘 Cardamom Powder – ½ tsp for aroma
- 🎨 Turmeric – a pinch for golden color
Instructions
- 🥣 Mix flour, turmeric, and water to knead a very soft dough, then soak it in oil for 30 minutes.
- 🔥 Cook mango pulp with jaggery in a pan until it thickens into a thick, non-sticky paste (Hoornu).
- 🥟 Take a small ball of dough, flatten it, place the cooled mango stuffing inside, and seal the edges.
- 🫓 Gently roll or pat the stuffed ball into a thin, even circle on a greased sheet or floured surface.
- 🍳 Roast on a hot tawa with plenty of ghee until golden brown spots appear on both sides.
