Ingredients
- 🐟 Fish fillets – 500g, cut into pieces
- 🧅 Onion – 1 large, finely chopped
- 🧄 Garlic – 2 cloves, minced
- 🌶️ Green chilies – 2, slit
- 🌿 Mustard oil – 3 tbsp
- 🥄 Turmeric powder – 1 tsp
- 🥄 Red chili powder – 1 tsp
- 🌿 Fresh coriander leaves – for garnish
- 🧂 Salt to taste
Instructions
- 🐟 Marinate fish with turmeric and salt.
- 🔥 Heat mustard oil in a pan and lightly fry the fish pieces. Set aside.
- 🧅 In the same oil, sauté onions until golden brown. Add garlic and green chilies.
- 🥄 Add turmeric powder, red chili powder, and salt. Sauté for a minute.
- 💧 Add water and bring to a boil. Gently add the fried fish and simmer for 10-15 minutes.
- 🌿 Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and serve hot with rice.
