Ingredients

  • 🍝 Macaroni pasta – 1 lb
  • 🧀 Cheddar cheese – 2 cups shredded
  • 🥛 Milk – 2 cups
  • 🧈 Butter – 1/4 cup
  • flour – 1/4 cup
  • 🧂 Salt – to taste
  • 🌶️ Pepper – to taste

Instructions

  • 💧 Cook macaroni according to package directions.
  • 🧀 While pasta cooks, melt butter in a saucepan, then whisk in flour.
  • 🥛 Gradually whisk in milk until smooth. Simmer until thickened.
  • 🧀 Remove from heat and stir in cheese until melted and smooth.
  • 🍝 Drain pasta and add to cheese sauce. Stir to combine. Serve warm! ✨
