Ingredients
- 🐑 Mutton – 1 kg
- 🌶️ Dried Red Chilies – 15-20
- 🧅 Onions – 2 large, finely chopped
- 🧄 Garlic – 2 tbsp, minced
- ginger – 2 tbsp, minced
- 🍶 Yogurt – 1 cup
- 🌿 Coriander powder – 2 tsp
- 🧂 Salt – to taste
- 🛢️ Mustard Oil – 4 tbsp
Instructions
- 🌶️ Soak dried red chilies in warm water for 1 hour. Grind to a paste.
- 🔥 Heat mustard oil in a heavy-bottomed pot. Add mutton and sear until browned.
- 🧅 Add chopped onions and sauté until golden brown. Then add ginger-garlic paste and cook for a minute.
- 🌶️ Add the red chili paste, coriander powder, salt, and yogurt. Mix well and cook until the oil separates.
- 🥘 Add water and simmer on low heat until the mutton is tender. Garnish and serve hot.
