Ingredients
- 🐖 Pork shoulder – 2 lbs, cubed
- 🥓 Smoked bacon – 4 oz, diced
- 🧅 Onion – 1 large, chopped
- 🧄 Garlic – 4 cloves, minced
- 🌶️ Paprika – 2 tbsp (sweet or hot)
- 💧 Water – as needed
- 🧂 Salt and pepper – to taste
Instructions
- 🔥 In a large pot, brown the bacon over medium heat.
- 🧅 Add the chopped onion and cook until softened.
- 🧄 Stir in the minced garlic and paprika, cook for 1 minute.
- 🐖 Add the cubed pork, salt, and pepper. Brown on all sides.
- 💧 Add water to cover the meat, bring to a simmer, and cook for 45 minutes, or until the pork is tender. Adjust seasoning to taste.
