Ingredients
- 🌾 Shredded Phyllo Dough – for the base

- 🥛 Milk – for softening cheese
- 🧈 Butter – melted, for layering
- 🍯 Syrup – sugar, water, lemon juice
- 🌻 Orange Blossom Water – for syrup flavor
- 🌰 Pistachios – crushed, for garnish
- 🫓 Kaak Bread - for the sandwich
Instructions
- 🧀 Soak the cheese in milk to remove excess salt.
- 🔥 Layer shredded phyllo dough with melted butter in a baking dish.
- 🧀 Spread the cheese evenly over the dough.
- 🔥 Bake until golden brown and the cheese is melted.
- 🍯 Pour warm syrup over the knafe immediately after baking.
- 🌰 Garnish with crushed pistachios and sandwich between Kaak bread.
