Ingredients
- 🍚 Semolina (Rava) – 1 cup
- 🧅 Onion – finely chopped
- 🥕 Mixed vegetables – 1 cup (carrots, peas, beans)
- 🌶️ Green chilies – 2, chopped
- 🫘 Mustard seeds – 1 tsp
- 💧 Water – 2 cups
- 🌿 Curry leaves – 1 sprig
- 🥜 Cashews – a few
Instructions
- 🔥 Roast semolina until light brown and set aside.
- 🔥 Heat oil in a pan, add mustard seeds, and let them splutter. Add cashews and curry leaves.
- 🧅 Add onions and green chilies, sauté until onions are translucent.
- 🥕 Add mixed vegetables and sauté for a few minutes.
- 💧 Add water, salt, and bring to a boil. Slowly add the roasted semolina, stirring continuously to avoid lumps.
- 🥘 Cook until the water is absorbed and the Khara Bath is cooked through. Serve hot.
