Ingredients

  • 🐔 Chicken Thighs – bite-sized pieces
  • 🍚 Cooked Rice – Japanese short-grain
  • 🥬 Nori Seaweed Sheets – large, square
  • 🥔 Potato Starch – for coating
  • 🍶 Soy Sauce – for marinade
  • 🫚 Ginger – grated, for marinade

Instructions

  • 🥣 Marinate chicken in soy sauce and ginger.
  • 🍗 Coat chicken in potato starch and deep fry until golden brown and crispy.
  • 🍚 Lay nori sheet, add rice, karaage chicken, then more rice.
  • 🍱 Fold nori sheet over filling to form a square.
  • 🔪 Cut in half and serve immediately.
