Ingredients
- 🌿 Kair – dried
- 🌿 Sangri – dried
- 🌶️ Red chili powder – for spice
- 🥭 Dried mango powder – for tanginess
- 🧅 Onions – chopped
- 🧄 Ginger-garlic paste
- 🫘 Chickpea flour (besan) – to thicken the gravy
- 🧂 Salt – to taste
- 🥄 Cooking oil
Instructions
- 💧 Soak kair and sangri overnight or for at least 6-8 hours.
- 🔥 Heat oil in a pot, add onions, and sauté until golden brown.
- 🧄 Add ginger-garlic paste and sauté for a minute. Then, add chickpea flour and roast until it turns light brown.
- 🌶️ Add red chili powder, dried mango powder, salt, and other spices. Sauté for another minute.
- 🥘 Add the soaked kair and sangri, along with some water. Cook until tender and the gravy thickens.
- ✨ Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and serve hot with roti or rice.
