Irish Soda Bread with Blackberry Jam

Ingredients

  • 🌾 All-purpose flour – 4 cups
  • 🥄 Baking soda – 1 tsp
  • 🧂 Salt – 1 tsp
  • 🥛 Buttermilk – 1 3/4 cups
  • 🍇 Blackberry jam – for serving
  • 🧈 Butter – for serving

Instructions

  • 🥣 Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Mix dry ingredients in a large bowl.
  • 🥛 Add buttermilk to the dry ingredients and mix until just combined.
  • 🍞 Form dough into a round and place on a baking sheet. Cut a cross on top.
  • 🔥 Bake for 30–45 minutes, or until golden brown and cooked through.
  • 🧈 Serve warm with butter and blackberry jam. 🍇
