Ingredients

  • 🍚 Rice flour – 1 cup
  • 🌾 Semolina (Rava) – 1/2 cup
  • 🧅 Onion – finely chopped
  • 🌶️ Green chilies – 1-2, chopped
  • 🌿 Cilantro – fresh, chopped
  • 💧 Water – as needed
  • 🧂 Salt – to taste
  • 🫘 Lentils (dal) - 1/2 cup
  • 🥔 Potato - 1 medium
  • 🍞 Bread slices - 4

Instructions

  • 🥣 Prepare batter for dosa/uttapam with rice flour, semolina, water, and salt. Let it rest.
  • 🔥 Heat a pan and spread the batter to make dosa or uttapam. Add toppings like onions, chilies, and cilantro.
  • 🥔 Boil and mash potatoes for aloo paratha filling. Mix with spices.
  • 🍞 Make aloo parathas by stuffing potato mixture in dough and cooking on a hot pan with ghee/oil.
  • 🥣 Prepare dal for vada/medu vada. Grind and ferment overnight
  • 🔥 Deep fry vada till golden brown.
