Ingredients

  • 🍣 Salmon fillet – 1 lb, skin on/off
  • 🧂 Salt – 1/4 cup, kosher
  • sugar 🍚 – 1/4 cup, granulated
  • 🌿 Dill – 2 tbsp, chopped
  • 🍋 Lemon zest – 1 tbsp

Instructions

  • 🥣 In a bowl, mix salt, sugar, dill, and lemon zest.
  • 🐟 Place salmon in a dish and cover with the salt mixture.
  • ⏳ Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for 24 hours.
  • 🚿 Rinse the salmon and pat dry with paper towels.
  • 🔪 Slice thinly and serve.
