Ingredients
- 🌾 All-purpose flour – for the dough
- 🫘 Urad dal – soaked and ground
- 🌿 Heeng (asafoetida) – a pinch
- 🌶️ Red chili powder – to taste
- 🥭 Amchur (dried mango powder) – to taste
- 🛢️ Oil – for deep frying
Instructions
- 🥣 Prepare a dough with flour, water, and a little oil. Let it rest.
- 🔥 Make the filling by mixing ground dal, heeng, spices, and amchur.
- 🥟 Stuff the dough with the filling and shape into kachoris.
- 🛢️ Deep fry the kachoris on medium heat until golden brown and crispy.
- 🍽️ Serve hot with chutney or yogurt.
