Ingredients
- 🍚 Glutinous rice flour – 1 cup
- 💧 Water – ¾ cup
- 🍬 Sugar – ½ cup
- 🥔 Potato starch – for dusting
- 🫘 Sweetened red bean paste (anko) – for filling
Instructions
- 🥣 Combine rice flour, water, and sugar in a microwave-safe bowl.
- ♨️ Cover and microwave for 1 minute, stir, and microwave for another minute until translucent.
- ✨ Dust a surface with potato starch and transfer the mochi dough onto it.
- 🔪 Divide the dough into equal portions and flatten each piece.
- 🫘 Fill with red bean paste, shape into balls, and serve.
