Ingredients
- 🦆 Half goose – cleaned
- 🌿 Fresh herbs (rosemary, thyme) – chopped
- 🍋 Lemon – halved
- 🧄 Garlic – crushed
- 🧅 Onion – quartered
- 🥕 Carrots – roughly chopped
- 🥔 Potatoes – quartered
- 🧂 Salt & pepper – to taste
- 💧 Olive oil – for drizzling
Instructions
- 🔥 Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
- 🦆 Prepare the goose by rubbing with herbs, garlic, salt, pepper, and olive oil. Squeeze lemon juice over it.
- 🧅 Place onions, carrots, and potatoes in a roasting pan. Place the goose on top of the vegetables.
- ⏲️ Roast for 1 hour 30 mins, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C), basting occasionally with pan juices.
- 🔪 Let the goose rest for 10 minutes before carving and serving with the roasted vegetables.
