Ingredients
- 🐔 Chicken – whole or pieces
- 🌱 Ginseng – fresh or dried
- 🍚 Rice – glutinous rice (optional)
- 🧅 Onion – sliced
- 🧄 Garlic – minced
- 🌿 Ginger – sliced
- 💧 Water – or chicken broth
- 🧂 Salt – to taste
- ⚪ White pepper – to taste
Instructions
- 💧 Boil chicken in water/broth to remove impurities. Then drain.
- 🍲 Combine chicken, ginseng, rice (optional), onion, garlic, and ginger in a pot.
- 💧 Add water to cover ingredients. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 45 mins.
- 🧂 Season with salt and white pepper to taste.
