Ingredients
- 🥛 Milk – 1 cup
- 💧 Water – 1 cup
- 🌾 All-purpose flour (Maida) – 1 cup
- 🧈 Ghee – for frying
- 🧊 Ice cubes – few
- 🍬 Sugar – 1 cup
- 🍋 Lemon juice – 1 tsp
- 🌰 Almonds – slivered, for garnish
- Pistachios – slivered, for garnish
Instructions
- 🥣 Prepare the batter by mixing flour, milk, and water. Ensure it's smooth and lump-free. Add ice cubes to chill.
- 🔥 Heat ghee in a mold or deep pan. Pour the batter in a thin stream into the center of the hot ghee.
- 🍩 Fry until golden brown and crispy. Remove and let it drain on a wire rack.
- 🍯 Prepare sugar syrup by boiling sugar and water with lemon juice until it reaches a one-string consistency.
- 🍯 Dip the fried ghevar in sugar syrup. Garnish with almonds and pistachios. Enjoy! ✨
