Ingredients

  • 🧈 Unsalted Butter – 500g (high quality, grass-fed preferred)

Instructions

  • 🥘 Melt the butter in a heavy-bottomed pan over medium-low heat until completely liquid.
  • 🫧 Simmer gently as the butter foams and the milk solids begin to separate and sink.
  • 🍯 Continue cooking until the solids at the bottom turn a light golden brown and the liquid is clear.
  • 🪵 Carefully strain the golden liquid through a fine-mesh sieve or cheesecloth into a glass jar.
  • ✨ Let it cool completely at room temperature until it solidifies into a rich, nutty ghee.
