Ingredients
- 🥓 Pork belly – 1 lb, skin on
- 🌿 Scallions – 2, chopped
- 🫚 Ginger – 1 inch, sliced
- 🍶 Soy sauce – 1/4 cup
- 🍬 Sugar – 2 tbsp
- 🌶️ Chili flakes – to taste
Instructions
- 🔥 Sear pork belly skin until golden brown and crispy.
- 🔪 Cut pork belly into 1-inch cubes.
- 🥘 In a pot, combine pork belly with ginger, scallions, soy sauce, sugar, and chili flakes.
- 💧 Add water to cover the pork belly.
- ⏳ Simmer over low heat for 45 minutes or until tender.
- 🍚 Serve with rice and enjoy!
