Ingredients

  • 🥛 Soy milk – 4 cups
  • 🥄 Gypsum powder – 1 tsp
  • 💧 Water – 2 tbsp
  • 🍬 Sugar – to taste
  • 🥜 Toppings (peanuts, boba) – optional

Instructions

  • 💧 Dissolve gypsum powder in water.
  • 🔥 Heat soy milk until almost boiling, then quickly pour into a container with the gypsum mixture.
  • ⏳ Let it sit undisturbed for about 20-30 minutes to set into a soft pudding.
  • 🍬 Prepare a simple syrup with sugar and water.
  • 🥣 Serve the douhua with the sweet syrup and your favorite toppings like peanuts or boba.
