Ingredients
- 🍫 Dark chocolate – 200g, high quality (70% cocoa)
- 🧈 Unsalted butter – 150g, cubed
- 🥚 Eggs – 4 large, separated
- 🍬 Sugar – 150g, granulated
- 🍫 Cocoa powder – for dusting
- 🍦 Vanilla extract – 1 tsp
Instructions
- 🌡️ Preheat your oven to 180°C and grease a 20cm round cake tin.
- 🥣 Gently melt the chocolate and butter together in a bowl until smooth.
- 🥚 Whisk egg yolks with sugar and vanilla, then stir in the melted chocolate.
- 🍰 Beat egg whites until stiff peaks form and gently fold them into the batter.
- ✨ Bake for 25–30 mins, let it cool completely, and dust with cocoa powder before serving.
