Ingredients
- 🟡 Toor Dal – 1 cup
- 🧅 Onion – finely chopped
- 🍅 Tomato – finely chopped
- 🧄 Garlic – minced
- 🌶️ Green chilies – slit
- 🌿 Curry leaves – a few
- 🥄 Ghee – 2 tablespoons
- ✨ Spices (cumin, mustard, chili powder) – to taste
Instructions
- 🥣 Cook dal until soft. Mash lightly.
- 🔥 Heat ghee, add cumin, mustard, and curry leaves.
- 🧅 Add onions, garlic, and green chilies; sauté until golden.
- 🍅 Add tomatoes and spices; cook until oil separates.
- 🥘 Pour the tempering over the cooked dal. Simmer for 5 mins and serve hot.
