Ingredients

  • Dimsum Wrappers: 12
  • Spinach 🌿: 2 cups, blanched and pureed
  • Broccoli Florets 🥦: 1 cup, finely chopped
  • Green Peas 🟢: 1/2 cup
  • Spring Onions: 2, chopped
  • Ginger: 1 tbsp, grated
  • Garlic 🧄: 2 cloves, minced
  • Soy Sauce: 2 tbsp
  • Sesame Oil: 1 tbsp
  • Cornstarch: 1 tbsp
  • Salt 🧂: to taste
  • Pepper: to taste
  • Vegetable Oil: for frying

Instructions

  • 1. Prepare the filling: In a bowl, combine pureed spinach, chopped broccoli, green peas, spring onions, ginger, and garlic. 🌱🥦🟢
  • 2. Add soy sauce, sesame oil, cornstarch, salt, and pepper to the vegetable mixture. Mix well. 🥣🧂
  • 3. Assemble the dim sum: Place a spoonful of the filling in the center of each dim sum wrapper. 🥟
  • 4. Moisten the edges of the wrapper with water and fold it into your desired dim sum shape (e.g., pleated, half-moon). 💧
  • 5. Heat vegetable oil in a pan over medium heat. 🔥
  • 6. Fry the dim sum until golden brown and crispy on all sides (about 2-3 minutes per side). Fry in batches, avoid overcrowding. 🍳
  • 7. Remove the dim sum from the pan and place them on a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil. 🧻
  • 8. Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce (e.g., soy sauce, chili oil). Enjoy! 🥢
