Ingredients
- ๐ฅ Jamรณn (Spanish ham) โ finely diced
- ๐ฅ Milk โ 2 cups
- ๐ง Butter โ 1/4 cup
- ๐พ Flour โ 1/2 cup
- ๐ง Onion โ finely chopped
- ๐ฅ Eggs โ for coating
- ๐ฅ Breadcrumbs โ for coating
- ๐ข๏ธ Olive oil โ for frying
- ๐ง Salt โ to taste
- ๐ถ๏ธ Pepper โ to taste
Instructions
- ๐ง Sautรฉ onion in butter until softened.
- ๐พ Add flour and cook for a minute to make a roux.
- ๐ฅ Gradually add milk, stirring constantly to avoid lumps. Cook until thickened.
- ๐ฅ Stir in jamรณn and season with salt and pepper.
- โ๏ธ Let the mixture cool completely in the fridge.
- ๐ฅ Shape the mixture into small croquettes.
- ๐ฅ Dip each croquette in beaten egg and then coat in breadcrumbs.
