Ingredients

  • 🥟 Wonton wrappers – 24 count
  • 🐷 Ground pork – 1/2 lb
  • 🧅 Green onions – chopped
  • 🧄 Garlic – 2 cloves, minced
  • 🌿 Ginger – 1 tsp, grated
  • 🍶 Soy sauce – 1 tbsp
  • 🍚 Cornstarch – 1 tsp
  • 🥚 Egg – 1, beaten
  • 🛢️ Oil – for frying

Instructions

  • 🥣 In a bowl, mix ground pork, green onions, garlic, ginger, soy sauce, cornstarch and egg to create the filling.
  • 🥄 Place a small amount of filling in the center of each wonton wrapper.
  • 💧 Moisten the edges of the wrapper with water, then fold into desired shape (triangle or purse).
  • 🔥 Heat oil in a pan or deep fryer to 350°F (175°C).
  • ♨️ Fry wontons until golden brown and crispy, about 2-3 minutes. Serve immediately with dipping sauce.
