Ingredients
- 🥚 Egg yolks – 6 large
- 🥛 Heavy cream – 2 cups
- 🍬 Sugar – 1/2 cup + more for topping
- 🌿 Vanilla extract – 1 tsp
- 🧂 Pinch of salt
Instructions
- 🔥 Preheat oven to 325°F (160°C).
- 🥣 Whisk together egg yolks, sugar, and salt.
- 🥛 Gently heat cream and vanilla; then temper into egg mixture.
- 🍮 Pour into ramekins and bake in a water bath for 25-30 minutes.
- ❄️ Chill thoroughly, then sprinkle sugar on top and brûlée with a torch.
