Ingredients
- 500g strong bread flour 🌾
- 250ml cold milk 🥛
- 50g sugar 🍚
- 10g fresh yeast (or 4g dry) 酵母
- 10g salt 🧂
- 100g softened butter 🧈
- 1 egg 🥚
- Filling of choice (Nutella, jam, custard) 🌰🍓🍮
- 1 egg for egg wash 🍳
Instructions
- Dissolve yeast in milk.🥛
- Combine flour, sugar, and salt in a bowl.🥣
- Add milk mixture and egg to the dry ingredients.🥚
- Knead for 10 mins, then add butter gradually.🧈
- Knead until smooth and elastic.💪
- Let rise for 2 hours. ⏰
- Divide dough into 6 pieces. ✂️
- Roll each piece into a thin circle. 🍕
- Cut each circle into 6 wedges.🔪
- Spread filling on each wedge. 🌰🍓🍮
- Roll up from the wide end to form a croissant shape.🥐
- Place on a baking sheet. 🍪
- Let rise for 30 mins. ⏰
- Brush with egg wash. 🍳
- Bake at 180°C (350°F) for 15 mins. 🔥
