Ingredients
- 🥣 Maida (All-purpose flour) – 1 cup
- 🍚 Rice flour – 2 tbsp
- 🍋 Yogurt – 2 tbsp
- 💛 Turmeric powder – 1/4 tsp
- 💧 Water – as needed
- 🍬 Sugar – 1 cup
- 💧 Water – 1/2 cup (for syrup)
- 💚 Cardamom powder – 1/4 tsp
- 🥄 Ghee or Oil – for frying
Instructions
- 🥣 Prepare batter by mixing maida, rice flour, yogurt, turmeric and water.
- 🍬 Make sugar syrup with sugar, water, and cardamom powder.
- 🔥 Heat ghee or oil in a pan.
- 🟡 Pour small circles of batter into hot oil to make coin-sized jalebis.
- 🍯 Fry until golden and crisp, then dip in sugar syrup and serve.
