Ingredients
- 🫘 Chickpeas – 1 cup, soaked overnight
- 🥩 Beef Shank – 1 lb
- 🥓 Smoked Bacon – 4 oz
- 🥬 Cabbage – 1/2 head, chopped
- 🥔 Potatoes – 2 medium, peeled and quartered
- 🥕 Carrots – 2 medium, peeled and chopped
- 🌶️ Chorizo – 1 link
- 🩸 Black Pudding (Morcilla) – 1 link
- 💧 Water – enough to cover
Instructions
- 🥘 In a large pot, combine chickpeas, beef shank, bacon, and water. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 1.5 hours.
- 🥕 Add carrots, potatoes, and cabbage to the pot. Continue to simmer for 30 minutes.
- 🌶️ Add chorizo and black pudding to the pot. Simmer for another 30 minutes, or until all ingredients are tender.
- 🥄 Remove the meat and vegetables from the broth. Slice the meat and sausages.
- 🥣 Serve the broth separately, followed by the meat, sausages, and vegetables.
