Ingredients
- 🐟 Fish or seafood – 500g, cleaned
- 🥥 Coconut – 1 cup, grated
- 🌶️ Red chilies – 6-8, adjust to taste
- 🌱 Coriander seeds – 2 tbsp
- 🧄 Garlic – 6 cloves, minced
- 🧅 Onion – 1 large, chopped
- 🥭 Raw mango – 1/2 cup, chopped (optional)
- 🌿 Curry leaves – 1 sprig
- 🧂 Salt – to taste
- 🛢️ Coconut oil – for cooking
Instructions
- 🥥 Grind coconut, red chilies, coriander seeds, garlic, and a little water to a smooth paste.
- 🔥 Heat coconut oil in a pan, add onions and curry leaves, and sauté until golden brown.
- 🥘 Add the ground masala paste and sauté for 2-3 minutes until fragrant.
- 🐟 Add fish/seafood, mango (if using), salt and cook until the fish is cooked through and the gravy has thickened.
- 🍚 Serve hot with rice or roti.
