Ingredients

  • 🍚 Flattened Rice (Chura/Poha) - 2 cups
  • 🟢 Green Peas (Matar) - 1 cup
  • 🧅 Onion - 1 medium, chopped
  • 🌶️ Green Chilies - 1-2, chopped
  • 🌿 Curry Leaves - 8-10
  • 🥜 Peanuts - 2 tbsp
  • 🍋 Lemon Juice - 1 tsp

Instructions

  • 🍚 Rinse flattened rice lightly and set aside.
  • 🔥 Heat oil in a pan, add peanuts and fry until golden. Remove and set aside.
  • 🧅 In the same pan, add mustard seeds, curry leaves, and chopped onions. Sauté until onions are translucent.
  • 🟢 Add green peas and green chilies. Cook for 2-3 minutes.
  • 🍚 Add the flattened rice, salt, turmeric powder, and sugar. Mix well and cook for 5-7 minutes until heated through.
  • 🥜 Garnish with fried peanuts and lemon juice before serving. Enjoy warm! ✨
