Ingredients
- 🐟 Chonak (small fish) – 250g
- 🍚 Rava (semolina) – 1/2 cup
- 🌶️ Red chili powder – 1 tsp
- 🍋 Lemon juice – 1 tbsp
- 🧄 Ginger-garlic paste – 1 tsp
- 🌿 Turmeric powder – 1/2 tsp
- 🌱 Curry leaves – a few
- 🧂 Salt to taste
- 🥄 Oil for frying
Instructions
- 🧼 Clean and marinate the fish with ginger-garlic paste, lemon juice, turmeric, chili powder, and salt. Let it rest for 15 minutes.
- 🥣 Coat each fish piece evenly with rava (semolina).
- 🔥 Heat oil in a pan over medium heat.
- 🍳 Gently place the rava-coated fish in the hot oil and fry until golden brown and crisp on both sides.
- 🌿 Garnish with curry leaves and serve hot with lemon wedges.
