Ingredients

  • ๐ŸŸ Chonak (small fish) โ€“ 250g
  • ๐Ÿš Rava (semolina) โ€“ 1/2 cup
  • ๐ŸŒถ๏ธ Red chili powder โ€“ 1 tsp
  • ๐Ÿ‹ Lemon juice โ€“ 1 tbsp
  • ๐Ÿง„ Ginger-garlic paste โ€“ 1 tsp
  • ๐ŸŒฟ Turmeric powder โ€“ 1/2 tsp
  • ๐ŸŒฑ Curry leaves โ€“ a few
  • ๐Ÿง‚ Salt to taste
  • ๐Ÿฅ„ Oil for frying

Instructions

  • ๐Ÿงผ Clean and marinate the fish with ginger-garlic paste, lemon juice, turmeric, chili powder, and salt. Let it rest for 15 minutes.
  • ๐Ÿฅฃ Coat each fish piece evenly with rava (semolina).
  • ๐Ÿ”ฅ Heat oil in a pan over medium heat.
  • ๐Ÿณ Gently place the rava-coated fish in the hot oil and fry until golden brown and crisp on both sides.
  • ๐ŸŒฟ Garnish with curry leaves and serve hot with lemon wedges.
