Ingredients

  • 🥚 Egg whites – aged
  • 🍫 Almond flour – finely ground
  • 🍬 Powdered sugar – sifted
  • 🥄 Granulated sugar
  • 🍫 Dark chocolate – melted
  • 🧈 Butter – softened
  • 🥛 Heavy cream

Instructions

  • 🥣 Make macaron shells: combine almond flour, powdered sugar. Whisk egg whites, add sugar gradually.
  • 🎨 Macaronage: fold dry ingredients into meringue. Pipe onto baking sheet.
  • ♨️ Bake shells at 300°F (150°C) until feet form and shells are firm.
  • 🍫 Make ganache: combine melted chocolate, butter and heavy cream.
  • 🍪 Assemble: pipe ganache onto flat side of one shell and top with another.
