Ingredients
- 🥚 Egg whites – aged
- 🍫 Almond flour – finely ground
- 🍬 Powdered sugar – sifted
- 🥄 Granulated sugar
- 🍫 Dark chocolate – melted
- 🧈 Butter – softened
- 🥛 Heavy cream
Instructions
- 🥣 Make macaron shells: combine almond flour, powdered sugar. Whisk egg whites, add sugar gradually.
- 🎨 Macaronage: fold dry ingredients into meringue. Pipe onto baking sheet.
- ♨️ Bake shells at 300°F (150°C) until feet form and shells are firm.
- 🍫 Make ganache: combine melted chocolate, butter and heavy cream.
- 🍪 Assemble: pipe ganache onto flat side of one shell and top with another.
