Ingredients
- 🐔 Chicken livers – 500g
- 🧈 Butter – 100g
- 🧅 Onion – 1 medium, chopped
- 🧄 Garlic – 2 cloves, minced
- 🥛 Cream – 50ml
- 🍷 Brandy – 2 tbsp
- 🌿 Fresh thyme – 1 sprig
- 🧂 Salt and pepper – to taste
Instructions
- 🔥 Melt butter in a pan and sauté onion and garlic until softened.
- 🐔 Add chicken livers and thyme; cook until lightly browned but still pink inside.
- 🍷 Deglaze the pan with brandy, then add cream and simmer for a few minutes.
- 🥣 Transfer the mixture to a blender and blend until smooth.
- 🧂 Season with salt and pepper, then pour into ramekins and chill for at least 2 hours. Serve with toast.
